Manager, Regional Business Development
Aribeca Cazaubon currently holds the position of Manager, Regional Business Development at National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago Limited. In this role she is responsible for the company’s regional business development thrust.
In February 2025, Aribeca was appointed to act as Vice President, Sustainable Energy Development, a position she held for one year. Prior to her role as Manager, Regional Business Development, she held the position of Business Venture Manager and was tasked with conceptualisation, promotion, and appraisal of renewable energy projects as well as facilitation of investments and negotiation of essential contracts for project advancement, including project development agreements for new petrochemical project and steel processing facility (US$ 200 Million to US$ 850 Million).
Aribeca has been with National Energy for the past 13 years and has been directly involved in promoting and developing projects spanning petrochemicals, metals, energy efficiency, the solar energy value chain and other emerging energy technologies. During her tenure she has also been the recipient of National Energy’s Third Place Top Performer Award and Top Team Awards. Prior to joining National Energy, Aribeca served as the Lead Process Engineer at a prominent multinational EPC firm in Trinidad and Tobago. She held responsibility for technical oversight of the company’s engineering deliverables, completion of bid proposals and adherence to safety and quality assurance practices.
Aribeca continues to deepen her engineering and project development skills through her membership in the University of Trinidad and Tobago’s Industrial Advisory Board and as a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Associate Member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
Aribeca holds an International Master of Business Administration from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago.
