NICOLE SIMON-THOMPSON

Nicole Simon-Thompson is currently the Manager of HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, & Environment). Since joining the organisation in September 2022, she has been entrusted with the critical responsibility of controlling HSSE risks, ensuring business continuity, and spearheading efforts to prevent and mitigate environmental loss.
With a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science, Nicole brings over two decades of extensive experience across the Energy and Manufacturing Industries. As a strategic leader, she has built an impressive track record of successfully leading cross-functional, multisite teams, driving transformative change initiatives, and implementing policies across both national and multinational organisations.
In recognition of her expertise and dedication to HSSE, Nicole currently serves as the Chair of the HSSE Sub-Committee of the Point Lisas Energy Association (PLEA). She has also held esteemed positions such as Director on the Board of the Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA) and Board Member of Safe to Work in Trinidad and Tobago (STOW-TT).
Beyond her professional sphere, Nicole previously held the role of Country Manager for the British Caribbean Chamber of Commerce (Trinidad & Tobago) and currently participates as a member of the Hope of A Miracle Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the community.
